Jeff began broadcasting high school games on WGNS back in 1982.  He has been with Inside Sports since its inception back in 1992.  As a career educator, Jeff has a deep and heartfelt love for local sports in Rutherford County.  Jeff has since retired from the school system.  But, you'll see him at many of the local events involving our athletes, from middle school volleyball, high school track, MTSU basketball and everything in between.  Plus, he was elected in 2006 as a Rutherford County Commissioner.

Jeff is co-host of the Prentice Alsup Heating and Air Coaches Corner (Saturday mornings at 9) with Bryan Barrett and frequently contributes to the IDEAS Inside Sports Scene (Monday nights at 6).  He and Bryan also work a full season of high school basketball, baseball and softball together, splitting play-by-play and color commentary duties.

Jeff is married to Daune and has two children and claims to be the world's greatest grandfather.  His grandchildren generally agree!
